Standing Up For New Mexicans :

Chris Ponce protected our communities as a police officer for nearly a quarter century. He looked out for workers in the local mines as an HR administrator. Now, as Chair of Grant County Board of Commissioners, Chris fought hard to keep the doors open at Gila Regional Medical Center, the largest hospital in a 100-mile radius. He delivered critical resources to improve infrastructure, roads and water systems. Chris has been a champion for our veterans and seniors.

In the State Senate, Chris will continue fighting to:

  • Expand access to rural healthcare
  • Support veterans, farmers & educators
  • Improve our roads
  • Protect and create good jobs
  • Tackle crime and the fentanyl crisis
